Hybrid-Human DNA and Light , installation 2026

Hybrid – Human, DNA and Lightis a spatial installation where photography, painting, sculpture and laser light merge into a single investigation of the body as both biological matter and digital data. Transparent layers, painted portraits and two mesh human figures shift from analogue vulnerability to digitised form, while red and blue laser beams activate the sculptures and turn light itself into a hybrid medium.

Wat betekent het vandaag om mens te zijn? In Real Humans – en de grenzen van de mensheid brengen Ulrike Bolenz en Katrien Thomas elk hun eigen, uitgesproken perspectief op een vraag die actueler is dan ooit. Deze expo opent op 8 mei met Kortrijk Art 2026. Telkens te bezoeken op zaterdag en zondag.

Reportage Art Karlsruhe ( Duitsland). Ulrike Bolenz op de Sculpturenplaats nominatie 2022. Met Galerie Schmalfuss Berlin. Sfeerbeelden reportage kunstmagazine KUNSCHT van de nationale zender SWR.
